Who are we?

 

 

Hawkwood specialises in the recruitment of HR & Talent professionals in to the Technology, Creative and Media sectors on a permanent, contract and freelance basis.

We have been in formation since March 2016 and are super-proud of our amazing client base which ranges from early-stage start-ups to larger, household names.

We are small and unashamedly so. We love being niche because it means we can keep very close to the market – more time dealing with people, less time endlessly trawling the web to find them!

Whilst we’re not claiming to be revolutionary, we take candidate care very seriously. We don’t always get it right, admittedly, but we endeavour to differentiate ourselves through treating candidates as human beings.

This includes delivering on promises, keeping in touch, detailed interview preparation, providing market updates and thorough CV feedback.

The great thing is that this also really benefits our clients too! We get lots of new candidates via referrals and their employer brands are represented in a positive way!

Lastly, we think we’re pretty fair and transparent. Recruitment can be expensive, we know that, so we charge reasonable fees, don’t charge cancellation fees on executive searches, only bill on the pro-rated salary and are happy to have grown-up conversations about temp-to-perm fees.

While many recruitment agencies seem to have set-up their HR divisions as an off-shoot of another recruitment business, Hawkwood is a true specialist with a comprehensive knowledge of HR.

An opportunity to differentiate through candidate care

Whilst this should be the norm, Hawkwood genuinely endeavour to keep you updated on the market and vacancies you are being considered for, provide you with proper CV feedback and advice, as well as generally not over-promising and under-delivering.

Long-term relationships over short-term gain

No cancellation fees on retained searches, fair fee rates, grown-up conversations about ‘temp-to-perm’ fees, and only hours worked billed on for part-time roles.
