Head of Talent (9 month FTC)

A social platform with a recent $3bn valuation are currently looking for a Head of Talent for a 9-month contract covering maternity leave. You would be tasked with heading up the recruitment team, leading on the delivery of Tech talent pipelines across their apps, focusing on quality hires and the value of true business partnering across senior level stakeholders.


This would be a good challenge for a Talent Acquisition Manager, who is keen to build a recruitment team, develop employer brand strategies and add real value to a Tech hiring function in a growing business.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 10 people across 3 locations in the UK, US & Europe
  • Develop and deliver on talent strategy and KPI performance via stakeholder insights, talent dashboards, and metric reporting.
  • Overseeing recruitment campaigns and employer brand initiatives, both offline and online, alongside marketing content, networking events and meetups.
  • Partner with senior leadership, People Director and management across the business
  • Restructure existing Talent team to increase efficiency and ability to deliver on more agile recruitment projects in line with future hiring strategy
  • Overall ownership of talent budget and relationships with key stakeholders
  • Bring best practice and standardise hiring processes across 3 locations
  • Generate new and creative solutions within D&I and Women in Tech agenda for the business i.e. pipelines into key positions and driving industry engagement


Who are they looking for?

  • Strong track record working in Tech businesses (fast-paced, delivery-focused experience is a must!)
  • Technical recruitment background with a focus on building employer brands and tech hiring across engineering and mobile, and developing OKRs
  • Experience in managing and coaching teams of 5-10 people
  • Useful experience would include working for scaling Technology, Digital, Social Media, E-commerce, Gaming or FinTech businesses

Competitive salary up to £85k, depending on experience.
