This is a newly-created role within a growing, independent, entrepreneurial Marketing agency based in central London.

This is an exciting, ever-changing, client-facing role suited to a strong stakeholder manager who can think creatively to solve problems.

About the role:

To help run the activities of the HR department and support the HR Director in the provision of an end to end, client-focused full-spectrum generalist service to the business. Line management/mentoring responsibility for HR Coordinator.

They are looking for a HR Advisor to join our existing team in their London office, to provide high quality, professional, outcome effective HR service, in line with employment legislation and business policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide best practice HR advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of HR policy and performance management to enable them to fulfil their people management responsibilities;
  • Deliver and integrate HR policies and procedures.
  • Support line managers in employee relations, ensuring consistency and professional approach and management of various issues through to conclusion
  • Provide support to HR Administrator-coaching, and mentoring.
  • Support a range of HR projects as required;
  • Provide advice to employees and managers on processes and HR issues;
  • Oversee joiner’s and leaver’s process, exit interviews etc.
  • Take responsibility for own professional and career development with support from line manager.

Skills required

  • Experience as HR Coorindator/HR Advisor within a media, marketing, creative or tech/digital environment
  • Ability to communicate well with a wide range of people across all levels;
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team to achieve group objectives;
  • Ability to organise workload and meet deadlines set by manager and colleagues;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and accurately in writing and verbally;
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practice;
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Professional personal presentation, with a helpful, can-do attitude;
  • Ability to provide excellent service to internal and external “customers” while “going the extra mile”;
