Lead HR Business Partner, EMEA

As one of the world’s most valuable start-ups, this rapid-growth Technology business are surrounded by a lot of hype. Having only opened their first European office at the end of last year, they’ve already hired 300+ people in the region and new regional offices are already being planned.

They offer a fun, vibrant, innovative culture and excellent opportunities for career growth. As part of their evolution, they are building out their HR team further and are looking for a People Lead to cover EMEA, managing a small team.


  • Provide strategic business partnership, thought partnership, and coaching to all levels of the organisation;
  • Proactively assess team and employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions;
  • Integrate and partner with HR colleagues in the Learning & Development, Compensation, HRIS, and HR Programs teams to implement solutions;
  • Provide appropriate coaching and development feedback to managers and individual contributors;
  • Work with the business on on-boarding and various manager development programs;
  • Manage the overall Performance Summary Cycle process;
  • Manage and facilitate organisational design and ongoing org and team visioning, and team building that supports change and growth;
  • Employee engagement and company culture champion;
  • Attend, and potentially facilitate, team and offsite meetings as needed.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 6+ years of experience in HR; with some of that being in a technology, digital or creative brand
  • Experience with coaching at the manager level, focus on performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting;
  • Demonstrated project management and change management experience and experience to drive programs independently;
  • Analytical and data management experience with experience translating data into action planning;
  • Interpersonal communication experience and experience building relationships at all levels of the organisation;
  • Experience in adapting work style to fit the needs of the teams;
  • Knowledge of the technology or Internet business;
  • Experience helping global technology/digital businesses scale
  • BA/BSc degree
