A London based start-up that have raised over $65m in VC funding since their humble beginnings in 2012 and now are one of the most successful e-commerce platforms within the hobby sector. They are based with a social and dog-friendly central London WeWork, are an ambitious team that are digitally minded, naturally curious and enjoy working collaboratively.

 

The Opportunity

As their Interim People Manager, you will be based in their central London office, and report directly into a hands on People Partner to develop the HR function together across the UK, Europe and USA offices. You will work creatively to attract, develop and retain top talent for the growing business, deliver people initiatives and ensure best practice. You will have full support on projects from an ambitious senior leadership team, plus countless perks such as free breakfast, private healthcare and share options.

 

The Role

You’ll provide support across the business on all things ‘people’ related, including ER and benefits

You’ll be responsible for all HR policies and systems; including overseeing the payroll process

You’ll manage the recruitment process and partner closely with hiring managers to ensure they secure the best talent; including tech, marketing and creative

You’ll develop new initiatives using analytical insights and have the chance to lead on a variety of engagement, training and development projects

You’ll create the internal comms, making sure the whole company is engaged with new initiatives and processes

 

About You

You’re a HR Generalist with around 3 years of previous experience working for a tech/media/creative start-up environment

You will be excited about working for a growing business and be the calm within the chaos it can create

You’ll know HR systems like the back of your hand, and be able to pick up new ones easily!

You are a natural at building relationships, have exceptional attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment

This position will be on a rolling contract.
